Thais Bernardes

Thais Bernardes was born and raised in Minas Gerais, the largest producer of natural precious stones in Brazil. When she was a child, her grandmother gave her a blue feather to hang around the neck as a lucky charm. This feather was a symbol of freedom and courage for the indigenous peoples of the Amazon, inspiring her to live with bravery and conviction from an early age. Given where Thais grew up, she also learned to appreciate the variety, nuances, and richness of precious stones. They became part of her identity and heritage, of which she’s carried with her from the moment she left Brazil to start working internationally as a model. For this reason, she chose to study Gemology and Jewelry Design, also obtaining a Master’s degree in Fashion Brand Management. All of these experiences and knowledge gained in the fashion sector, together with her love for natural gemstones, proved invaluable when she created her own eponymous brand in 2015. All Thais Bernardes jewelry pieces have a unique design, made of silver and gold, decorated with natural stones. It was from the Italians that Thais learned to value every last detail and to invest in quality above all else. Her contemporary brand is geared towards the fashion-forward woman whose style is both elegant yet easygoing.
