SALCO

Originally Salvadori Confezioni, SALCO was founded in 1951 by Ricciotti Salvadori in Empoli, Tuscany. At the time, the company mainly produced men's raincoats. In fact, during the 1958 and 1974 World Cups, SALCO designed and provided raincoats for the Italian national men's soccer team. During the 1980s, the company began to also design women's lines and established partnerships with external workshops. Today SALCO is managed by Ricciotti's grandson, Stefano, whom continues the Made in Italy tradition that began over 70 years ago.
