Lorena Grippa founded Maitea out of a deep passion for jewelry. After learning to work with metals and gemstones from a master jeweler, she launched her first collection in May 2016. Her pieces are all handmade and their minimalist look is the result of meticulous attention to detail and special attention to the irregularities that occur in nature. The result is unique and exquisite pieces with a hidden beauty that reveals itself only when worn.
