Gandhara

Gandhara is a unique swimwear brand based in Vicenza, founded by Federico Kapnist in 2018. Specialized in swim shorts for men, Gandhara offers top-quality handcrafted pieces featuring precious patterns and colorful details. As the brand expanded, they’ve also diversified their offer including t-shirts and intimates. The brand name is evocative of an ancient kingdom conquered by Alexander the Great where a mix of cultures gave birth to an exquisite artistic style, source of inspiration for Gandhara’s prints. Embellished with gold, silver, and copper patterns, each piece is original and unique in its genre. Laser prints are also included in the line, as well as monochrome options. Products are entirely made in Italy, from search of materials to tailoring and packaging, guaranteeing excellent quality. Gandhara also pays special attention to sustainability, choosing fabrics deriving from upcycling and regeneration. Nylon and polyester used for their swim shorts, although synthetic, are mainly deriving from recycled sources in order to be less wasteful and impactful on the environment.
