Connibi

Connibi was founded in Genoa in 2019 by Costanza Bottino and Elisa Occella. The name comes from the co-founder’s nickname, Connie, and the “bi” refers to the use of double material that distinguishes their bags. In fact, each Connibi creation is always made using two different materials for the exterior. After an initial period where different models were tested, Connibi decided to focus solely on the bucket bag, immediately a best seller. The bucket bag is made in three different variants in order to meet the needs of a varied clientele: maxi, medium, and mini. Connibi uses only Made in Italy leather from the most qualified Italian tanneries that have the proper environmental certifications. At first the founders actually made the bags by hand, but after increased demand from Genoa-based clients, they decided to work with an external laboratory in Milan. The creative process including research and design, however, are still managed internally. Thanks to the communication agency in Milan with which they collaborate, Connibi has been mentioned in the press and several well-known publications.
