All our products are handmade by our artisans in very small batches for MIRTA’s customers. This is how we can ensure the sustainability of production, avoiding any fashion waste, and the uniqueness of each item, which is crafted just for you. At the same time, we are aware that you cannot wait to receive our exclusive pieces. For this reason we built the fastest delivery process:

Please note that if you would like a customized piece (e.g. different color, different leather) the production time varies by product. Please get in contact with us at hello@mirta.com if you would like a feedback from the artisan on exact production time. MIRTA's collection includes some highly unique pieces (e.g. handpainted, limited edition products) which require up to 2 months to be produced for you. Please note that the exact delivery time is highlighted in the description box of each specific product.

We provide Express shipping (1-2 days) for free with our global courier partners. Please note that delivery period varies depending on your location and can be longer than expected due to an invalid address, customs clearance procedures, or other unexpected causes.

Once your order is ready to be shipped, we will send an email with specific tracking information of your package(s).

SHIPPING FEES, TAX AND DUTIES

Shipping is free worldwide over €150 and it is provided by various global courier partners.

Shipping cost below €150 varies according to continent: Europe 15€, Americas 25€, Asia 30€.

Due to some administrative changes caused by Brexit we can currently not ship items below 135,- GBP to address in the United Kingdom. We hope to solve this issue shortly.

Import duties are included in the price shown on the website. In fact, all destinations are delivered on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means you do not have to think about them. Indeed, relevant import taxes and duties are processed by MIRTA once your order has been shipped. You do not have to pay any additional fee after checkout, and we will take care of the whole process.

Import taxes are already included in the price shown at checkout. All other non-customs-related local sales taxes and personal import taxes are the customer’s responsibility, and MIRTA is not responsible for reporting or paying additional local taxes to states.

LOST PARCELS

If you still haven’t received your parcel within 5 days after being notified about its shipment (and receiving the tracking link), and/or if you cannot find any further updates on your tracking link, please contact us at hello@mirta.com and we will open an investigation with the courier. Please note that this may take up to 15 working days, after which you will receive the item or a refund.

PARCELS DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED

If the tracking link shows that your parcel has been delivered to the address we have been provided during the purchase process (or later on), but you have not received it:

  •   If other people live with you at the same address, check to see if they picked up the package or refused delivery.
  •   If you live in an apartment building with concierge service, check to see if the package is with the concierge. Alternatively, please check with your neighbors in case the parcel has been delivered next door.
  •   Please contact us at hello@mirta.com and we will open an investigation with the courier. This may take up to 15 working days.

Mirta cannot reimburse or re-ship orders that were mis-delivered by the post office or stolen from a property, in case the proof of delivery provided by the couriers states that the parcel has been correctly delivered at the given address.


RETURN POLICY

We honor return requests made within 14 days after receiving the original purchase.

MIRTA accepts returns of unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items, with no signs of use for refund. If we receive a damaged or visibly used product we will return the product to you, without refund.
Please note that customized, personalized and exchanged products cannot be returned.

Returns must be packaged in the MIRTA box, which must be securely sealed with adhesive tape. In case our box is no longer available, you may use another type of packaging suitable for the shipment of our items.

To start a return, please navigate to https://www.mirta.com/returns and enter your order number and email and follow the steps. MIRTA will cover the return shipment and any customs fees for you. The refund will be processed within 14 working days upon arrival at our warehouse.

The refund will be processed towards the same payment method used for the original purchase.

If the original order was below the 150€ threshold for free shipping, or if any additional paid-packaging options were selected, the paid fee will not be refunded. If a partial return brings the total amount paid below 150€, the shipping amount will be deducted from the refund according to your local shipping rate.
If your order qualified for a free item, and by returning 1 or more items from that order, the order is now no longer qualified for a free item, the refund amount will be reduced by the original value of the free item, if the free item is not returned.
If your order qualified for a discount code, and by returning 1 or more items from the order, the order is now no longer qualified for the discount, the refund amount will be reduced by the original value of the remaining item(s) in your order.

For orders paid by Credit Card, the refunded amount will be available to clients in roughly 10 days and within their next billing statement. Processing time may vary depending on the Credit Card Company.

Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any differences in the refunded amount are due to exchange rate fluctuations and will not be reimbursed.

Once your return has been approved, please drop it off at a courier partners' point or schedule a free pickup at your location of preference within 7 days. If the return is shipped after 7 days, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the to-be-refunded amount. Returns shipped more than 14 days after the approval will not be accepted.
Items must be returned using exclusively the return documentation provided by Mirta: any parcel returned through different couriers or transport labels not authorized by Mirta won't be accepted and the return won't be processed.

Customers that decide not to use Mirta's documentation and proceed to return their items through third party couriers and their transport labels will be fully responsible for the shipment and the delivery of the parcel. Mirta will not be responsible for lost, misplaced, undelivered parcels shipped with couriers and documentations not approved by Mirta.

Any parcel shipped by customers outside of the return/exchange window won't be accepted by Mirta.

EXCHANGES

We honor exchange requests made within 14 days after receiving the original purchase. 

MIRTA accepts exchanges of unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items, with no signs of use. If we receive a damaged or visibly used product we will return the product to you, without refund or exchange.
In addition, customized or personalized products cannot be exchanged.  Exchanged items cannot be exchanged again or returned.

The to-be exchanged item must be returned packaged in the MIRTA box, which must be securely sealed with adhesive tape. In case our box is no longer available, you may use another type of packaging suitable for the shipment of our items.

MIRTA reserves the right to refuse returns that are unauthorized and/or not sent in accordance with the Return Policy detailed on the website. In the case of unauthorized or non-standard returns, the merchandise will be returned to the shipping address specified in the original order.

In the case of defective or incorrect items, we invite you to immediately contact hello@mirta.com. MIRTA reserves the right to request photographic support regarding defective or incorrect merchandise before authorizing a return.


CANCELLATION POLICY

SHIPS IMMEDIATELY” PRODUCTS:

It is not possible to cancel orders for products tagged as “Ships Immediately”, as the order is immediately elaborated at the moment of purchase and will proceed towards its destination right away.

However, please note that a free return service is available. You can find more information in our Shipping & Returns policy above.

TO BE CRAFTED” PRODUCTS:

It is always possible to change and/or cancel your order before the product is ready to ship / already shipped. However, please note that fees might apply depending on the processing status of your order when you request the change and/or cancellation.

In fact, all our products with the tag "To Be Crafted" are handcrafted just for you by our artisans upon your order to ensure the most sustainable production and avoid any fashion waste. This means that once you place the order, the artisan will buy the material needed to make it and start the crafting process.

If your order change/cancellation request for an item with the tag "To Be Crafted" is submitted within 48 hours from purchase, only the administrative charge for the cancellation will be applied.

Any change/cancellation request submitted after 48 hours from purchase of an item with the tag "To Be Crafted" will be subject to a cancellation fee of 15% since the crafting process of your unique piece will have already started. We aim to guarantee that in case of order cancellations, all crafting costs already incurred by the artisan are covered.

Repair and restore

The artisans and MIRTA want you to enjoy your little piece of Italy as long as possible. The artisans crafted your product with so much care, and we want to do our part to extend that care to you.

We expect our pieces to be used a lot; it is really hard to resist using such beautiful products! With extended usage comes wear and tear, which can manifest itself in many ways; a few examples are; change in color shade, stitching loosening, scratches, and stretching. If you are unlucky, your product might get damaged, for example, a cut, a broken handle, liquid damage, or a ripped-off button.

We want you to use your proud piece with the same joy and delight as you did when it was just delivered, so it would be a shame if, for any reason, you cannot or won't use it anymore.

Luckily, because of the relationship we have with our artisans, we can offer a repair and restore service to you. This service allows you to send your product back to the artisans who crafted it for you so that they can repair any possible damage and try to restore the wear and tear as much as possible.

We consider this initiative as the next step in sustainable fashion, so we don't want to make a profit on it. We will charge you only to cover the shipping fees and to pay the artisans for their time. 

If you would like to ask the artisans that crafted your unique piece to restore it to its original state, you can write an email to hello@mirta.com. Please include a few pictures and a description of what you would like the artisan to focus on.

While we cannot guarantee that the artisan can restore your item to its original state, we will do our best to make that happen. From experience, we know that structural repairs are easier to fix than changing colors or scratches. We will provide you with a detailed response on the repair and restore possibilities before deciding if you would like to proceed.
