"For us, being an artisan means carrying on traditions that would otherwise die out. As a new generation, we want to encourage others to do the same because Italian artisanal excellence is both a value and opportunity that should not be lost."

The Ettore Cavazza brand collaborates with several historic weaving mills and artisanal workshops within the Como area, thanks to the numerous acquaintances developed over the past 100 years by the family. Today the brand is headed by Andrea Cavazza, but it all started with his great-great-grandfather, Ettore. Combining Ettore with Andrea’s last name on his father's side, the brand therefore represents a synergy between past and present/future, with the symbol of this relationship being the expert silk craftsman.

Their flagship product is certainly the tie, together with the twist, as they are made entirely of silk. These classic products represent the essence of the brand, but Andrea and the rest of Mastri Setai—a term coined by him and a close-knit group of Made in Italy enthusiasts—like to experiment and launch innovative products as well. Ettore Cavazza attracts customers who prefer to stay away from big name luxury brands and opt for quality, artisanal pieces that are 100% Made in Italy.
