AP Bags was founded in Bologna by the entrepreneurial spirit of Allegra Pizzoleo, a young fashion designer who decided to combine her artisanal skills and creative mindset to endure the hardships of 2020 starting her own unique fashion project with the support of Sara Paglia, art director of the brand and friend.
The brand celebrates the traditional Italian craftsmanship offering handmade products mainly obtained from upcycled materials for a more sustainable and conscious choice. Allegra creates crochet bags which are unique in their style, selection of materials, textiles, and colors. Synonymous with Made in Italy and sustainability, AP Bags's products are crafted with passion and the utmost attention to detail.
Emilia-Romagna takes its name from the ancient Roman consular road, Via Aemilia, which begins in Rimini and crosses the entire region. Its most well-known cities are Bologna, Modena, and Parma.
The region boasts both sea and mountains. Its coastline along the Adriatic is stunning, and the Apennines between Parma and Piacenza make a beautiful backdrop for a walk or hike. Emilia-Romagna is also known for its spa towns with healing thermal waters, including Salsomaggiore and Bagno di Romagna.
Due to its geographical location, Emilia-Romagna is one of the most fertile and leading agricultural lands in Italy. The regional cuisine is also one of the best and most beloved in the world.
